25 Inspired Living | I Love NaturePosted By:Celine
A visual treat today, from a workshop we love very much in Poland, I Love Nature (yes, indeed we do too). Their organic, rustic style is pure perfection, made only better by this duo's ease and skill with a camera and impeccable styling. The beauty of the wood and the quality of the craftsmanship is what we notice and covet, any of these pieces would make a very welcome addition to PGM's Organic Kitchen! Perhaps one day, and until then, Happy Monday everyone!

30 Inspired Living | Waxing KaraPosted By:Celine
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. Truly. As a small, independent publication, each time press time rolls around I find my time monopolized, and keeping on top of it all is often a challenge. That said, while I'm busy stuffing envelopes, applying address labels and packing boxes of magazines for retailers, I came across Waxing Kara in my 'inspiration' folder, and fell in love all over again—I'm taking a time out to share it with you!

8 Eco Style | OLO FragrancePosted By:Celine
I am madly working away this week finalizing our new issue, which will be released at the end of this month. I can't wait to share it! As I knew I would be a wee bit overwhelmed this week, I had tucked a few finds up my sleeve to share with you while I'm off being a busy worker bee. I am truly excited to have come across OLO Fragrance, a brand that couldn't be more perfect for Pure Green and our readers. Stylish, eco and not too feminine, I have found a new coveted love. Long ago I stopped wearing perfume—I'm picky you see. Fragrance is notorious for containing a host of hormone-disrupting chemicals and many are cloyingly strong, both major deterrents in my book. Fortunately OLO is none of these things—self-described as a 'tiny fragrance line based in Portland, Oregon', the creator behind the line, Heather Sielaff, uses only natural ingredients and essential oils to create her blends. The fragrances are inspired by nature and unisex—which I love as nothing is too floral or too sweet. A fabulous find. Love.

3 Happy 2013!Posted By:Celine
Happy 2013 everyone!! I thought I would kick off the new year with a quick little post sharing some sweet calendar picks I've come across. I've always loved a good calendar, but this year feels so promising I feel especially attracted to a one for 2013. In the age of smart phones I'm not sure many actually use a paper calendar anymore, but besides being a nice little piece of art, I love having a calendar available at a glance—perhaps this is because I'm busy counting down the days before my wee one arrives, only 11 weeks, give or take, to go! Oh my!!

12 Maailman synty by Saana ja OlliPosted By:Celine
I'm always happy to get an email from Saana ja Olli announcing a new collection—their newest release, called Maailman synty (= the birth of the world) is inspired by age-old Finnish creation myths and their rich wall rug tradition. The design, which is slightly reminiscent of cross-stitch but with a decidedly modern angle, is printed on hemp fabric which Saana ja Olli produces.

1 Style | EKOPosted By:Celine
It was a delight to receive a sneak peek from the team at UK based EKO of the new SS/12 collection. A wonderfully photographed collection it is easy to visualize each piece as a simple staple for casual weekends. What struck me is how utterly comfortable the clothes look, in particular the skirts and dresses. Made using organic cotton, bamboo and cashmere you can clearly see the pieces were designed to flow and effortlessly contour your body. The new collection embraces an active yet relaxed lifestyle— I can picture myself in that grey skirt shown above with very little trouble!

27 Vintage | Sunday's Child Part 1Posted By:Celine
We have a special treat for you today! When we shot Rachel Riordan's home for our current issue, we also shot a special little space called Sunday's Child (just across the street from Rachel's home), a hybrid vintage shop and maker studio run by Rachel and her partner/friend Jude. These shots are just too sweet not to share so we thought we'd offer up a special feature here on the blog! Enjoy!
