Happy 2013 everyone!! I thought I would kick off the new year with a quick little post sharing some sweet calendar picks I've come across. I've always loved a good calendar, but this year feels so promising I feel especially attracted to a one for 2013. In the age of smart phones I'm not sure many actually use a paper calendar anymore, but besides being a nice little piece of art, I love having a calendar available at a glance—perhaps this is because I'm busy counting down the days before my wee one arrives, only 11 weeks, give or take, to go! Oh my!!
This year I'm loving both these minimalist and modern designs. The above calendar is designed by Julia Kostreva, with gold foil prisms, printed on recycled stock. The single page design saves you having to remember to change the page, and also allows to check dates in the future quickly, such as magazine deadlines and baby due dates! The gold prisms add a hint of playful femininity.
This one is also very modern and minimalist, and I love it equally as well. (The dark, astrological feel reminds me of our Volume 3 cover!) I may choose this one because permanently framing the month/year that my baby is born sounds like a cute idea to me! Designed by Chelsey Dyer of Prismatic Print Shop.
And finally, I thank you all, my dear friends and readers, for helping make 2012, our launch year for Pure Green in print, a successful one. I wish you all nothing but the best for 2013! xo Celine
