Eco-Logical | The Story of Sushi

This short film took the team at Four Story Treehouse seven months to create using miniatures. Besides being an incredible visual feat, it sheds light on why current commercial fishing practices are not sustainable and shares ideas for how to create a better system. The video was produced for Bamboo Sushi—located in Portland they are the first certified, sustainable sushi restaurant in the world. The restaurant makes a formidable and admirable commitment to sustainable practices, both in the food that they serve and in their daily operations. It's definitely worth a click-thru to learn more but before you do enjoy this video. It really is incredible!

PS - If you aren't lucky enough to live near Bamboo Sushi (like me) then download this handy app from Seafood Watch. It tells you at a glance which types of fish are the best ocean-friendly choices. Pretty neat!
