Rather than buy a gift this year for Mother's Day (or any special occasion), why not invest in an experience? Treat her to something she loves doing but never makes time for, and celebrate the special relationship you have with her. Read More

Take a stroll through the lens of Pauline Boldt along the iconic streets of Palm Springs. The mid-century architecture speaks for itself, but I loved how Pauline also focused on the interesting shapes, textures and shadows cast by towering palms and spiky succulents. The lovely faded out tones, drenched in sunlight, transport me to hot summer days, a feeling I thoroughly enjoyed as spring seems to be taking it's time here at home. I hope the photos have the same effect on you! Read More

I am so delighted to bring you a special post from new PGM contributor Yvonne Rock (you'll be able to see her work in PGM Volume 9, expected in Summer, 2014). Yvonne got up early one morning last week to capture the magic happening in Washington, D.C right now, those cherry blossoms are incredible! The pastel hues are inspiring me like mad. Enjoy the post, and thank you so much Yvonne for sharing your beautiful work! Read More

Some beautiful inspiration hit my mailbox this morning in the form of Rebecca Atwood's new spring release, the Williamson Collection. I've been admiring her work for a long time now, and this combination of neutral gray's, indigo and coral hit my sweet spot—I couldn't resist sharing it with PGM readers. Rebecca creates all of her designs in small batches, by hand, using natural linen. While beautiful grouped together, one special pillow sitting on your bed of sofa would be a beautiful accent of colour and art, since each is one of a kind. Read More

Every so often you fall upon a link, and it's love at first sight. That's how I felt after coming across Light + Ladder by Farrah Sit. Beautiful, geometrically inspired planters and a variety of housewares, I love each one. The photos for this stunning body of work were taken by Nicole Franzen, another reason I was won over instantly (Nicole has contributed to several issues of PGM, including Volumes 2 and 4). I will let the photos do the talking (especially since I am madly working away on Volume 8 at the moment). Enjoy and thank you for reading! Read More
